Population Solutions

Picture
In the future, the growing elderly population may pose as a threat to New Zealand. A few ways to help this problem are to improve senior homes, health care and re-invigorate the economy. Seniors' homes would help to provide more suitable accommodations, nutrition and care for an aging population. Better health care would help ensure that the aging population stays healthy. Finally, re-invigorating New Zealand's economy would provide more resources to put towards these population solutions.
Another potential problem in New Zealand the increasing immigration out of the country to Australia and the UK. This problem could be solved by increasing the immigration into New Zealand to replace the loss of these people to other nations.
